No, LASIK is generally not painful. We use anesthetic eye drops to numb the eye completely before the procedure. You may feel some slight pressure, but no pain. After the procedure, some mild discomfort or grittiness for a few hours is normal.

Most patients experience improved vision within 24 hours. Full healing takes about a month, but you can usually return to normal light activities within a few days. Our micro-incision technique ensures the fastest possible recovery.

While both are excellent laser vision correction procedures, SMILE Pro is a newer, flapless technique. It involves a smaller incision, which can mean less disruption to corneal nerves and potentially a lower risk of dry eyes post-surgery.
