The Process
Analog Hearts in a Digital World
While the delivery is digital, the philosophy remains deeply analog. I still rely on medium format film for personal projects, utilizing the unique grain structure and highlight roll-off that digital sensors still struggle to replicate.
My core setup involves vintage cinema lenses adapted to modern mirrorless bodies, providing that characteristic optical imperfection—soft edges, beautiful flares, and organic contrast.
The Digital Darkroom
Color grading is where the emotion is truly forged. Drawing inspiration from 90s film stocks like Kodak Portra and Ilford HP5, each image is meticulously graded to ensure skin tones remain rich and shadows are steeped in atmospheric depth.
